1. What does a tessellation mean?
-A tessellation of a flat surface is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and no gaps. In mathematics, tessellations can be generalized to higher dimensions and a variety of geometries.
2. How did you create the tessellation in your own words- so that you can recreate it on your own two years from now. Do not cut and paste the instructions from the class website!
-How I created a Tessellation was by finding a photo I thought looked really nice. After I found that photo I went on photoshop and cropped the photo to either a 4 in square or a
2 in square. Once that was done I made myself a template with rulers on it so I can align the photos on that line so it is even all the way around. Once that was done I duplicated the layers and flipped the horizontally and vertically to align them all together and make a really cool photo.
3. Any struggles you had making this project
-During this project I didn't have any struggles, once I saw what to do it came easy to me and I was able to do it really easily
4. What you are most proud of making this project.
-I am most proud of being able to combine these cool shapes together and make an awesome geometric design. The one I like the most is the circle style one. I enjoy the color effects I applied to it and the shape of it.
